Details never shared

ArxBridge manufactures rated security products in-house: steel doorsets, windows, louvres and HVM products, cut, welded, assembled, glazed and finished under one roof. Every product leaves with third-party test evidence.

  • In-house worksSteel, glazing and finishing
  • Rated productsBuilt to test evidence
  • Bespoke sizesMade to your openings
  • Documented QAChecks at every stage

What the manufacture service includes

Manufacturing in-house means we control the details that decide whether a rated product performs: the weld quality, the fit of the glazing, the protection of the lock case, the finish. Nothing is subcontracted without our QA covering it.

  • Steel fabrication: cutting, folding, welding and machining of doorsets, frames and louvres.
  • Waterjet cutting for precise profiles, apertures and intricate parts.
  • Assembly of leaves, frames, hardware and glazing to the approved drawings.
  • Glazing of rated units with the specified make-up.
  • Shot blasting and powder coating for surface preparation and finish.
  • Quality checks at each stage, recorded against the job.

Built to the test evidence. We manufacture to the exact construction that was tested. Any proposed change goes back through design review before it is built, never after.

How a product moves through the works

Every job follows the same route, so quality does not depend on who is on shift.

Stage What happens Why it matters
Cutting and forming Plate cut and folded to the fabrication drawings Accuracy here decides the fit of everything after
Welding and assembly Frames and leaves welded, dressed and assembled Weld quality carries the structural and security loads
Glazing and hardware Rated glazing fitted, locks and hinges hung The tested make-up must be reproduced exactly
Finishing Blasting, coating and curing to the specified finish Finish protects the steel and presents the product
QA and packing Final checks, labelling and protection for transport The site receives what the drawings promised

How manufacture works

  1. Design release. Approved fabrication drawings from design enter production.
  2. Materials. Steel, glazing and hardware are procured to the specification and checked on arrival.
  3. Cutting and forming. Parts are cut and folded to size.
  4. Welding and assembly. Frames and leaves are built up and dressed.
  5. Glazing and hardware. Rated units are glazed and ironmongery is fitted.
  6. Finishing. Surfaces are prepared and coated to the specified finish.
  7. QA and despatch. Each product is checked, labelled with its rating, and packed for site.

What manufacture delivers

Finished products labelled with their rating, packed and protected for transport, accompanied by third-party test evidence, finish records and fixing details. The documentation pack is what your QA file and the building’s records need: no gaps, no assumptions.

Traceability runs through every job: materials are recorded against the job number, and each finished product carries its rating label. If a question arises on site later, the job record shows exactly what was built and what evidence covers it.

When manufacture is needed

Use our manufacture for bespoke sizes that catalogue products cannot cover, for rated products where the tested construction must be reproduced faithfully, and where programme certainty matters: one works, one schedule, one point of accountability. Main contractors also use our fabrication capacity for architectural metalwork alongside the security package.

Because design, manufacture and installation sit under one roof, problems found in the works are solved before products reach site. A detail that cannot be built as drawn goes back to design the same day; it is never discovered by the fitter on the scaffold.

Which products manufacture applies to

We manufacture security doors and doorsets, blast resistant doors, louvred doors, rated windows, HVM products and shielding components. Fabrication services are available standalone for architectural and security metalwork.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make non-standard sizes?

Yes. Bespoke sizing is the normal case for us: products are made to your openings from approved fabrication drawings, within the limits of the tested construction.

What finishes are available?

Powder coating in standard and special colours, with marine-grade systems for exposed locations. Surfaces are shot blasted before coating so the finish bonds properly.

How is quality checked?

At each stage against the fabrication drawings: dimensions, weld quality, glazing make-up, hardware function and finish. Checks are recorded against the job number.

What documentation comes with the products?

Third-party test evidence for the rating, finish records, fixing details and a packing list keyed to the drawing schedule. Keep it with the building’s records.
